This policy explains what information Retro Daddy collects when you use retrodaddy.org, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as we can and use it only to serve you.
Information you give us
When you contact us or use the Quote Builder, we collect the details you choose to provide — typically your name, email address, phone number (if you share it), and information about the project you have in mind.
Information collected automatically
We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used. We also read an approximate country from your connection so we can show prices in a sensible currency. We do not use this to identify you personally, and we do not build advertising profiles.
How we use your information
We use what you share to:
- respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote or recommendation;
- deliver and support the work you engage us for;
- improve the website and our services.
Where your information is stored
Enquiries are stored in our database (Supabase) hosted in an India region. The website is hosted and served by Vercel. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
Cookies and local storage
We keep cookies to a minimum. Your theme preference (day or night) is stored locally in your browser for your convenience and is not shared with us.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the site and deliver our work, and only as needed for those purposes — or where the law requires it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. Email retrodadddy@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Data retention
We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond to you and to serve you if you become a client, then remove it when it is no longer required.
Children
The site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site and our services evolve. When we make a material change, we will update the date above.
